Warren is the award-winning cartoonist for The Daily Telegraph and Sunday Telegraph Newspapers and is also an author and television presenter, having hosted Top Gear Australia, National Treasures and The Prime Ministers’ National Treasures among other programs.
From 2006 – 2015 he served as the master of ceremonies at Gallipoli in Turkey on Anzac Day and was appointed as a commissioner on The National Commission on the Anzac Centenary.
He has undertaken many adventures and co-conceived the recreation of the 1907 Peking To Paris expedition following the original route in five of the original cars and narrating the four-part documentary series.
Warren is the author of six books including the best-selling biography of explorer and motorist in Francis Birtles Australian Adventurer and the mysterious disappearance of prospector Harold Lasetter in Lasseter’s Gold.
Warren was appointed as a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in the 2023 Australia Day Honours for significant service to media as a cartoonist, and to military history.
